Lithium impregnation for concrete floors

Solidifying and thickening lithium impregnation based on the silicates and polymers - is a water silicate lithium solution, which changes chemical composition of the concrete floor. Solid structure is created in concrete interstices due to ad hoc silicates with different ion molecules sizes. Penetrating and hardening the concrete on molecular scale, the impregnation creates high strength concrete matrix, which possesses extreme physical and chemical properties. Selectively picked polymer binders additionally change it and guarantee maximal hardening of the concrete by means of strengthening of the concrete matrix components, which do not contain unbound particles of calcium. Surface does not dust because of the impregnation usage; oils, salts, acid and alkali solutions do not penetrate though it. At the same time solid and abrasion resistant surface remains vapor permeable, whereby destructive pressure is not occurred in layers of plate. A surface covered by the impregnation is very simple to keep clean.

Absolutely environmental safety and product purity. Ease of use.

Penetrating in concrete structure on deep depth, molecules of the lithium impregnation are reacted with cement rock along the entire route  - they create new silicate group which protects both outer, inner layers and deep structure of the concrete blinding.

Polished concrete in terms of economic

Polished concrete is absolutely competitive in cost with traditional surfaces such as polyurethane or epoxy coatings, linoleum, ceramic tiles, etc. Main difference of the polished concrete from mentioned surfaces is an endurance and ease maintenance, because the polished concrete does not require any care with exception of common cleaning. You might think, that polymer surfaces, topping, linoleum and carpeting are the cheapest things to improve your floors. To understand it better it is necessary to sort through maintenance cost. Polymer surfaces based on acrylates, epoxy resin and polyurethane must be periodically renew because of its runout. Their lifetime is usually about 2-5 years, but where conditions are severe, renew may be required every year or even often. Before applying a new coat, old one should be purged away. It means significant costs on floor maintenance. The polished concrete does not require any care with the exception of periodic cleaning, herewith endurance of the polished concrete floor is more than 20 years.

Polished concrete floor

Polished concrete floor - is a high quality solid polished surface, visually it looks like natural stone floor, but it is significantly more solid, which creates higher durability. Hardening and dedusting of concrete floor is provided by usage of a material based on the lithium silicate. The impregnation is deeply penetrate in concrete, creating insoluble calcium hydroxide. Surface is smooth and shiny because of the material based on the lithium silicate with polymer.

Distinctive feature of the polished concrete floor is an absence of any cover  on surface of the floor, for example, polymer, topping, etc, which can be peeled off, shelled or depreciated. The polished concrete floor is the one unit with a poured concrete - it is a high quality solid polished surface, visually it looks like the natural stone floor: marble or terrazzo, but it is significantly more solid, which creates higher shock resistance. The polished concrete is often used in high traffic zones, because it is easy to clean it. Thanks to new technology there is no need to hide the concrete under ceramic plates, self-leveling floor, linoleum, laminate, etc. The concrete itself can be independent esthetical and decorative cover.

During new construction it is enough to wipe the surface with a concrete filling machine when pouring a working plate. Polishing is performing after finishing all CMP, as a result we get reliable and beautiful floors.

Technology of impregnation usage allows to recover old floors with toppings.

If it is necessary to make floors on already existed surfaces or overlaps, it is enough to make concrete screed with 70-80 mm thickness.

Staged coating of material:

  1. General view of a test side
  2. First layer of the varnish is applied
  3. After first polishing
  4. Second layer of the varnish is applied
  5. Final result
  6. Concrete floor after hardening and polishing
